    Re: The Wait

I like it but taking the shot slightly further to the left so that there is more water and reflected light in the image would improve it?

    Re: The Wait

There isn't anything to the left ;) just blackness. The building in the background ends there and nothing but a pitch black see was after that, in fact I cropped a bit off the left because it was dead space. Thanks kisu

The guy facing left looks like he has been decapitated is there enough detail in orgional image to recover his head. Interesting how the people look isolated in their own little worlds. Nice

I think the main thing here Leles is that you left it a bit late in the evening when it all became a bit too dark. Other than that it is not too bads with the Melacon wall leading us in nicely.

I think you should clone the person on his back. You might also consider cropping just a little off of the bottom.

    Re: The Wait

Hey Liban, I think this is the first night scene from you that I can say does not work for me. Always a first. . .
I agree with Tom in that it is very dark and we lose much of the scene about. I'm bothered by the waiting man being near the edge of frame looking out the edge. Looking at him makes me want to look out as well and I have to force myslef to visit the other third of the image. When I do, there is nothing there to view. I think getting closer to him so that his head would be up over the lights in the background would help set him off and lining it up so he is in the left portion of the photo looking into and out. I believe your intent was to have the concrete pier edge leading up which works but not enough to make the image.

    Re: The Wait

hminx, lol. yeah that guy, i shot it in raw so it won't be hard to get his head back ;) Thanks

Tom, yeah, I was so addicted to shooting at twilight/blue hour that I forced myself to shoot at different times this time around. I was getting a tiny bit overloaded with vivid blue skies. but i totally agree with you. thanks

Greg, yeah, i see that person now. him being gone would definitely define the subject a bit more. thank you.

Gary, thanks for pointing out all the flaws, appreciated as always. i agree this one isn't all that lol.

    Thanks guys

It definitely sets a mood. I think they are waiting for their wives to get done shopping.
