I like them, I wonder if the top one(the wheel) would look better in B/W or maybe Sepia. Just a thought, it might give it more of a old time feel?

yeah, up the contrast and change the first one to sephia, and it'll look nice. Maybe a tighter crop too. Second one doesn't do much for me. Just seems like a regular snapshot.

I was curious as to what the second picture would look like sepiafied and I think it sets it back an era...........hope you didn't mind me doing this.........

    Re: Wagon wheel

I like the subject you found. I agree with livin4lax09 though that it appears more of a vacation snapshot than photographic artwork or anything, but the B&W/sepia version is nice...

The top shot. Hmm..... I do like it. The pink against the green grass is fun. And the simplicity of the circle is relaxing. But - the angle is simply too simple! It's like you just walked up and snapped it, bam, end of task. I think if you could (and you would prob need a macro lens to do so) that it would have been great to position the lens about 6 - 12 inches away from the wheel at a very low distance from the ground and got the spokes receeding into the distance......... That would have given it a larger feel. As is, it is also too snapshot-ish.

Sorry to be so negative. But it is always easier to critique than to take
