    At the Waffle House

Another one from the darkroom. How do you feel about the blurry lady entering the frame on the right? If nothing else one really has to work on composition and framing knowing PS isn't going to save you.lol

I think that if her body form made it obvious that she was moving, then the blur would be okay. But it looks to me like she is standing still, perhaps talking, so instead of motion blur, I perceive it as OOF.

The lady doesn't add anything for me. But the guy has a very good expression, just crop......ooops, use a pair of scissors.....
But seriously, where the diamond pattern begins (from right to left) is a really nice shot, says "Waffle House" for sure. At least one aspect of a very broad subject.

Hi Greg - The left 3/5ths (just avoiding the white wall) makes a fine picture. It would also put the guy on the thirds. There is no reason why you can't simply enlarge a portion of the image.

The guy has a lovely expression but it is not enough; there needs to be something else but it is not the girl as she is here; had she been working away, even with her back to the camera, she would have made herself more useful for the image. I think he is sort of aware that he is being photographed but I could be wrong. I think Mike's crop is a good idea. I suppose it could be cropped under the enlarger.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
