slee - It has some nice geometry. I like how the red building merges into the water tower, so to speak. The only thing that breaks that up is the white area at the bottom (what is that?). Could also be a tad sharper I think, and perhaps you could add some contrast to give it more dimensionality. Otherwise, good eye for an interesting scene.

PS - Vermont? Get some trees in there too ok?

GB1 - thanks! I really appreciate the feedback.

I agree with you about the sharpness. The original file is a bit sharper-looking than this gif. Don't know why. But I added a little smart sharpen and pumped up the contrast ever-so-slightly... and it did increase the immediacy and dimensionality.

The white area? Not sure, but I wish it weren't there, either.

Trees comin' up soon. But first...cows.

I like the barn/silo shot. When you can't get everything in look for parts and this is a good example. I, too, think maybe it could do with some contrast and sharpening but good shot as is. Oh and the white door doesn't bother me.

I like the barn and don't like the cows (too red).

The only thing with the barn shot (and I don't know why) but I want to tilt it to the right a little bit. I sort of think that low sunlight on the buildings would really enhance it but you have a great composition and great detail here.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I love shooting interesting geometric angles........this is a great example of it.

A nit, but not cutting off the bottom of the last window would have enhanced the geometric confluence for me.

Very creative take on the barns indeed.
    Well done.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
