    Re: Virtual?Reality?

I like it but is it maybe a little blurred? Am not sure if it is just my eyes failing or not but the Chanel signs and the figures in the foreground don't seem to be as sharp as they should be?? Great composition and I think that your timing was excellent. Very clever to capture the zebra crossing on both the 'virtual and real screens', this works very well indeed.

    Re: Virtual?Reality?

I like the idea but it seems either out of focus or you were using an absolutely terrible lens wide open (which I doubt is the case since loss of central sharpness that bad is a really rare find). Like I said, great composition though.

    Re: Virtual?Reality?

Hi Herriot, Thanks for the analysis. Yes, the image is not sharp. The lens I used s difficult to focus sometimes.

Hi fx, You are absoultely right about the sharpness issue. In fact, I was shocked by the blurried result.

Do you have the exif information for the picture? It might be camera shake if you used a long exposure.

Apart from the sharpness, it think it's a excellent capture it has that old school noir charme.

I wonder would it be better if you add some old fashion film grain?

    Nice work

    Re: Virtual?Reality?

Hi fx, The shot was taken at 1/60s and the focal length was 24 mm. However, it was manually focussed. I guess a focus error would be a likely explanation.

Hi Tony, Thanks a lot for the grain suggestion which I did not have in mind.
