Beautiful compostion, most times things like the people looking over is a distraction, but in this case somehow you made it work. I think it's the way you framed the two glass panes into a " V ". I also like the tones in the shot. The overall picture is croppped perfectly since the sky is not working, but the skyline adds to it. Great shot....

Very good picture. I like the panels of viewing glass setting up a nice foreground,so to speak. The tone works well, and as Greg stated, the inclusion of persons here adds to the scene. I also like that the Chrysler building breaks up over the horizon. It adds to the depth. Good work

This is a lovely photo and I really do like the way the glass frames the people in a form of rectangles which are echoed in the building.

Excellent tones which lead to a ligher city the closer you get to the horizon.

    Well spotted and executed.

I like the shot, even with the "observers"--that's reality. I do not know what you would call the tone (Sepia?), but is that the way you shot it? Or was it adjusted afterward? I was curious what the natural color looked like.

    Huckster:

I really like this photo. I have looked and looked at this just to take in all the detail. I like the people at lower right, adds much to the total experience. The sepia tone works well with the buildings and the the brick work up close. But, you know what I like best, the distortion of the building in the glass at lower center. Very cool!

    Nice job.

Thanks for the comments, I'm really glad that you guys like this shot.

R_S: here you have the natural picture side by side.
What I basically did with this picture was sharpen it a bit and lower the saturation.

    cheers

Personally, I usually prefer color, but I really like what your adjustment does for this shot. The people's clothing stand out a little too much in the original, and you have subdued everything into a very nice, continuous view.
