    A view from 33000 feet

Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams from my flight to San Jose last weekend.

Not bad from a plane window.

very nice. work on the contrast a bit. IMO, it needs a bit more punch but it's very dramatic as is.

Dramatic, but, understandably grainy, shooting through two windows and the lens glass itself.

Welcome to the forum. Other than the quality of the image suffering because of shooting through a plane window, the composition /framing is very good. The colors in the sky and your framing of this scene make it very nice regardless of the softness, lack of punch, graininess etc. Good shootin.

Sennin - Like you said, not bad from a jet window. I would crop out the bottom 1/3 of the photo and also sharpen it up a bit. The sharpening might have a good effect on the sunset colors too, is it increases the contrast a little.

33,000 feet?! The altimeter must be broken because Mt. Rainier appears higher than the plane

Cool shot and welcome to PR!

beautiful shot IMO. i think the slight bit of grainyness adds something to the photo. was this sunrise or sunset? looks like the world is just waking up...

Re: A view from 33000 feet

Indeed, not too bad from 6 miles or so high!

The mountains and foreground could certainly be tweaked up a bit to 'balance' the whole image. I do wonder if either the sky or ground could be significantly reduced or cropped to make a stronger photograph.

Nice lines to the Range and nice cloud patterns in the sunset.

    Welcome to PR!
