    The Vietnam Nurses Statue

The weather was wet, snowy and nasty. Got this one of my favorite statue in DC.

good framing. I like the open space to the left. The drop cuaght on the nose adds to the mood and emotion on the face of the statue. Exposure is just right. I like it
    good work

    I love it. Amazing!

Thanks, I was a little unsure about the way the profile of her face cut the frame in half diagonally. Does seem to work though.

The light under the chin seems to prevent it from doing that anyway, although even without it the framing would still work I think.

I was there days after this statue opened, what a great piece of art. I think that you captured the emotion of a nurse during Vietnam.

    MB,

Really a nice shot. I think the space at left definately adds to the feel of the shot. The expression on her face of exhaustion, grief, the steady gaze all is enhanced by that space. The drop of water a real plus. I think you did a great job on a difficult subject.

Wow. Nice composition. I feel it creates a lot of mood and emotion. The drop could be sweat dripping down. You almost brought the statue to life. Nice work. The bright spot doesn't bother me at all.
