I skipped this one last summer for some reasons but I rather like it now.

This is unbelievably beautiful. I love the details, the strong focus on the butterfly and the blurred bg make this shot all the stronger. The colors are incredible. Looking at it, I can't believe it took you this long to post the image. While the butterfly is slightly out of focus, I still find this very appealing.

I like this, too, but I think that perhaps the bright spots that are larget hen the b-fly draw one's attention too much.

This is indeed a beautiful image and i like that I can see the leaves throught the bflys wings.As Lava stated, the bright spots do distract, and maybe burning them down a bit might enhance.

Very pretty shot and colors! The DOF is excellant. Only complaint is that the butterfly almost gets lost in the background colors. Great eye and timing.

I agree with other on the bright spot. However I love the framing of this image and the great soft blur of the out of focus areas. Wonderful photograph.

Thanks guys,

I feared that the bright spots in the background would be distracting, unfortunatelly I was unable to bring them down without getting a fake look.

This call for a reshot (someday....)
