VFW Dedication

I was at the cemetary today and saw this. I thought it was really neat.......Any oppinions on this or what could make it better?

I like the material it was engraved in. Pretty stuff (and expensive I am sure. Might have to wait on getting those countertops).

I have mixed feelings about you showing the background. It is definitely distracting but I also feel that the right side adds a little depth that makes it interesting.

Contradictions abound....
