    A Very Curious Street Cat

I shot this cat in the market this evening. The cat was very cooperative and did not move for 5 minutes. The shot was possible and taken at 1/25s as he sat still.

I love cats anyway so I like this shot. :-) Great coloring for a B&W shot and your DOF is muy bueno. The rule of "don't put your subject in the middle of the shot" is broken up nicely by all the bars moving throughout the image.

    Hi Jacqui,
Thanks for the kind words. I had to use Google Translation to understand your message.

LOL. For the "DOF" part or the "muy bueno"?

Okay, I won't use Spanish anymore on comments to you. Or I'll at least provide a translation. ;-) Adios (bye!)

a b&w cat in a sepia toned bg, makes an interesting visual. I'm not crazy about the blurry wood sticks cutting off parts of the cat, but the shot still has appeal, and that counts for more than anything else. Looks like you surprised him/her . . . .

Hi Jacqui, Spanish is fine as long as it is with translation.

Hi Gary, You are right. The cat had to be very surprised as I was very closed to him (the shot was taken with a 35 mm). I was also very surprised he did not move but sat still. I am still puzzled now.
