    veins

    I hope I am not posting too much! I just enjoy everyone's feedback !

    I played around with this to do something a little different - I would like to know what you think.

    Nice image. I think the selective color works nicely which I don't say often (i.e. not my favorite technique). Some thoughts:
    - Less crop at the top so the leaf is not cut off?
    - A little burning of the brightest spots in the background?
    - Somehow brightening the lower left of the leaf (dodging or a gradient filter)?
    - Since the main attraction is the light shining through the leaf, use a closer crop and fill the frame with the abstract pattern?

    I guess I would say, concentrate on that beautiful pattern and work on lessening anything that detracts.

    I like the range of greens here and the hint of blue adds to this. the composition and DOF are also nice. I don't mind the selective colour here, i think it works. the only thing is a bit of a halo around your subject that without i think the shot would've been nice. anyways, nicely done.
