well the first one looks pretty good,but the second image makes one stare at it longer,and noticing all the small little flies on a very small picture already,for a plant that grows on the beach sand, life can be alittle miracle,nice reflection,i think cropping the out of focus part out could enhance this shot,thanks for sharing.
polarbear.......I don't know about anyone else, but that leaf in the top shot kind of takes the focus away from the part on the right for me. (sorry......I don't know my flower parts, lol).
In the bottom shot, I can't put my finger on it, but the oof flower in the bg sort of throws the focal point of the shot off for me.

the one on the top is a cattail, i thought at the time the husk sort of added to the shot the second picture i agree the out of focus takes away but no matter which one i aimed i would either get one or the other,perhaps my metering needed to be changed thanks for your input.
