    Re: Vacancy

I quite like this one .. it's all about graphic shapes and blocks of colour. It also gives the feeling of waiting for something to happen - I can picture the cabanas gradually filling up as the sun gets higher. The slight distortion of the buildings top left bothers me a little, but that is all I would suggest.

    Cheers

    Re: Vacancy

It has a lot of impact due to the geometry and color. The sharpness is good as it should be. It works as a keeper. However, I also get the feeling that something's missing - more sky, some negative space at the bottom right, a person, some indication of why they're there, etc. Again though, not bad at all. I really like how the sand shows so much detail.

Nothing to add other than the colors stand out real well. Great exposure.

    Re: Vacancy

I like the leading lines you found here and the placement of the horizon is nice. I might wish for stronger light and the stack of folded chairs on the far right bothers me a bit.

I wonder if having one person somewhere in the frame (but distant from the center) would add just that last touch this seems to need?
    No, I DON'T need that.
