    Unholy hour

I awoke to the evil stench that eminated from the rear of my dogs backside, gag & puke, now that i'm awake ,why not not call on Don at 2:30 am and drive out to the country for a hour and half,by the time we got there,I had a half hour to paint inside, the full moons light was good enough for the outside,Don helped with his flash with a gel over it,but as the sun started to rise,Don felt a burning sensation to go home.

Nice exposure! You might think about cutting some off the bottom..um..and left, leaving a nice blue sky all around up top..minus some limb cloning. or leave?..
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

i originally did crop this image from ground to side, but felt it took away the sense of lonely abandonment the church gives off,its funny about our area and long forgotten church's,both doors are unlocked and yet no vandalism, really speaks about te respect they give off,and that country style living.daytime this church is painted pink, perhaps thats vandalism at its extreme.thanks for viewing and commenting.

A very nice idea and the exposure is great. The lighting of the inside and the stars. I do feel it is centered to much but cropping any at this point would only hurt it. The sun coming over the horizon is perfect. You might tweak the white balance or bump up the whites in PS to kill the orange tint on the building. Nice work.

when i took the shot,i forgot to change my whitebalance on the camera,it was set to auto, but with the moon out shining on the natural color of the church,i can see where you would see it orange color.

I am not sure if you shot RAW, but if you did you can change it after the fact in PPing. Still a great shot. I like it and it was well worth the efforts. Did you flash the inside during the exposure?

yes i painted the inside with a red gel over my sb-600,three seperate flashes with a few glow sticks in the window sills, shot on a tripod with manual at 30 second exposure, fstop at 4.0 i believe, this was our last shot as the sun was coming up over the horizen and would just blow out the image and lose that night time effect, thanks for viewing ,all shot in jpeg.

The sky is very well exposed, would like to see the edited and cropped version to see what they look like as well.
