    Under LSD

A tunnel under Lake Shore Drive that is. Shot this past week in Chicago. Converted to BW in Photoshop.

    Comments or suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Phil G.

I wouldn't be in that tunnel if I were on lsd. I think the bottom and right could stand for a slight crop, but an othewise interesting shot with a lot of options for the back story.

I agree with N8 regarding options for this shot, but I wouldn't crop it at all. I believe the extension into the darkness create a deeper feeling of solitude, loneliness, abandonment,... Nice image.

I hear you, N8. I was looking hard for something to suggest for improvement as well. Almost was going to gripe about the blown out light in the back, but the silhouette is perfect and the brightness balances the black in the foreground!

This one has potential, but I am not sure it really works. The daylight area is just too bright and washed out, and the shape of the fellow there isn't very interesting (he/she may also be too small in the frame). I wish the person was doing something mysterious like holding an umbrella (or ?). I like the dark area but it just blows out too much.
