    Under the Dome(s)

I visited Mission Concepcion and Mission San Jose in San Antonio last weekend. I decided to try my hand at some HDR photos.

The first image was take directly beneath the lighting fixture hanging from the dome of the Concepcion cathedral.

The second image was taken in a side room off the cathedral, again looking up at the domed ceiling. (The rope is to ring the tower bell).

They're both good, but I especially like the 2nd one. Great composition. nice textures, nice tones. Love the rope hanging and the angle it's on.

They both grab the eye, very nice love the texture. I maybe wouldn't have been so tight on the framing of the first shot.
    Shootme...
