I like the idea of the photo but it seems to be a bit grainey (maybe that is what you where going for) also it might be a bit more visually appealing if the focus was on the umbrella a bit more, i seemed to be spending most of my time trying to read what the symbols and writing where on the umbrella.

I like the grain, detail, and tonal range... and the fact that umbrella is not entirely frozen/tack-sharp. More of a painterly feel that way.

What kind of camera and film are you using, out of curiosity?

I like the playfulness you captured here, and I do like the grainy effect and the artsy/playful feel it lends to the photo. Those little legs together with that huge umbrella are cute.
