Looks like a Mutano Raptor and maybe a Bontrage Jones? Reminds me of this pic I took last summer of a beaten semi-slick.
As for your pic, I'd like to see the tires go from the bottom and roll off the top, look a bit unnatural to me being in the top as my eye tends to focus on the bottom left area of the picture, which is not of interest.
I think one way to look at shots like these, is that you have to decide if you want your shots to be about the bike(s), or about the shape / line / texture associated with your bikes (or anything else you might shoot).
You've created an abstraction here (presumably because you saw something interesting before putting your eye to the viewfinder), but there really isn't enough in the way of interesting shapes or textures to make this shot work. Keep at it, just make a conscious effort next time around to recognize what it is that intrigues you about your subjects, and then really try to compose / focus around those elements.
It is a good shot, but I think that it could be much better if the tread patterns were focussed more. I find them to be a little too soft. My eyes wander around the frame, but always get drawn back to the tread pattern. It bothers me that I can't see it clearly since it is the point of interest in the shot. Good start though, I would set it up again.
I like the second better... the one with one wheel, the first is .. to vague to be interresting. You point there to much to the ground...more on the wheels and the shot would have been better!
