    Was the first one taken with the "digital zoom" engaged? It is very noisy (grainy). It is otherwise a pleasant photo - makes you want to know what caused her to make that face!

    The second one isn't as nice. The use of a telephoto compresses it so much that the old ladies seem to be right on top of the young girls and are somewhat distracting to me. You also cut of part of the young girls feet. I would have given them more room top and bottom - it looks like they are going to bump their heads on the top of the photo if they look up.

    I like the first one. It is a commentary on the prevalence of cell phones and their "necessity" status with today's youth.
