    Doesn't look like Southside Johnny to me.

    Great idea, but I think it might be more effective with partial desaturation.

    The lighting is also a little hot next the right eye and to the right of your nose.

    Great idea for a shot. From my screen it looks a little blurred so I'd have had it sharper at least on his right eye where there is more light. Some smoke coming up from say a cigarette could have added some dimension for the gangster look.

    Interesting idea, and pretty well executed. The hot spot doesn't bother me, and I think you could probably avoid having to desaturate by making a white balance shift to a cooler temp. (more blue) maybe 6500k. The only thing that really bothers me about this is the shadow the nose casts on the left side of the face. A paper plate reflector bouncing just a little bit of light back down into the left eye socket would do wonders here and give a similar range of tones to what's shown on the other side only not as bright.
