    two little flies...

    hi everyone,

    yesterday morning, I shooted two little flies in my garden with my D70s and nikkor 105mm VR

    Excellent shots! Especially the latter. I suppose it might have been better if the entire back wing were in focus, but that's minor. I have not done much macro shooting, but I guess it is hard to manage depth of field precisely.

    I'm not crazy about the composition of either one, BUT, what a great lens. The color and sharpness and shallow DOF are superb. Practice on your composition and you're gonna hvae some sellable prints before long.
