I like the colors but its hard to make out small details. I would suggest a crop so that most of the image is filled with the color of the flower pedals. But the big black areas add a feeling that your alone with the flower. So its your choice.

Lovely minimalist images. The red leaf is particularly striking against the dark background. Great DOF. I enjoyed them

Interesting images, but they seem dark. I'd bring them up with a little PS. While you are at it, check for a color cast (or white-balance).
