Seb, the more i look at this the more i like it. Noticing now your "acting" in playing two parts. The Seb on the right is saying and gesturing something that is causing the Seb on the left to react with a sort of "you don't say" or "your kidding me" . LOL Very humorous, creative, and visually good to look at. I dig the Golden wood floors . .
Quite an interesting image. Composition is good and I like how the framed images add balance. Overall lighting is good including the spotlights on the side. It is a fun image and if that was what you were after you achieved your goal.
OK Seb,,the more I look at this image the more I see into it...It is kind of symetrical but then its not..The positioning of the lights,,the twins' attire,,the position of their feet smacks symetry...Look closer the photo frames,,the hand motion of the twin on the right smacks of assymetry...I have a feeling the twin on the right is the extrovert of the two by his hand motions and facial expression...Did you purposely place that twin on the right???If you did,,the heavier photo frames on the right give it away..
Great image..

The lighting the colours the positioning of the "Twins" and the pictures on the wall are wonderfully setup.

This is a fine example of composition exploiting symmetrical elements. The first visual assumption is that it is one kind of photo, but momentary and lengthy examination keep revealing something more.
The body language you have acheived add to the appearance of a truly dynamic conversational exchange, which is accented by the subtle non-symmetric elements of the room such as the white space offset with the photo frames and the not quite perfect lights. They, the lights, are great in that they look like they are the same at first glance and then one realizes, no they are quite what I thought!
This photo could even be titled to reflect the whole conversation theme that it portrays.
Very well conceived and executed photograph Seb!

Reason: addition
Gary: Thanks! I am glad to know that the dynamic betwen the two characters is efficient and yes, this floor is pure bling bling lol....
Phil: Thanks!
Jurgen: The position of the frames on the wall vs the twins is purely fortuitous but the rest was set up on purpose. Thanks.
Roger: Actually, yes. I didn't meant to do a self portrait but I had the whole twins idea in mind for quite some time and no available model to test try it so....
Thanks for commenting!
DRG: Thanks a lot! I pleased to know that it worked that well. I'll push furhter into this direction in the future....
Very nice shot Seb. I can feel the two interacting with each other. I would never have known that this is you or even if the two are "twins" or one in the same had I not read the above comments. I simply love it.
They look very different to me. The lighting is very good, the left one a bit hot. But my most critical opinion, here we go,
you got some big ass shoes! lol

Thanks Leels! The shoes are somewhat magnified by the wide angle lense but yes, they are rather funky lol...

Anyway, I love the lighting and all the elements in the room, including your big ass shoes. The browns and yellows and blacks mesh well together. I think I'd like this even more if it were bigger.

Seb, this is a wonderfully executed shot, but one thing is driving me crazy. It's the vertical faded area on the left side of the pictures on the wall behind the couch. What is causing that?

Hello John, thank you for commenting. Are you reffering the the area next to the head?
If so, this have to be a shadow caused by the uneven lighting. (I need a real studio lol...)
