:-D This one actually made me LOL at the screen, what a great look on his face and his FEET! Most excellent! I would definitely cut off the blue at the bottom.

Hehe...I love his face and feet too! And so, not caring for the blue then? I wasn't sure about it when I was doing the crop...

    Re: Turtle

Yeah, Emily. I'm a big fan of holding up pieces of paper to an image to see the crop and in this case you can just scroll this window and crop off the bottom. When you take away the blue, it makes the shot all about the turtle/rust color with a slight bit of green in his face that goes well with the green in the background. Comparatively, the blue in the foreground is an unnatural color (not of nature) and is in the shade. It doesn't seem to match the rest of the picture. Cropping there also makes the picture more about the turtle. Who is AWESOME, by the way. :-)

Im not crazy about the blue at the bottom of this- a little distracting.
What a moment youve captured... so much character in this little guys face

    Re: Turtle

Good pose on this guy. I agree with the cropping of the blue, but not all of it. Just enough to leave some of the thinning blue are in as it has a nice pleasing effect against the orange. The lighting would have helped if it were in front of this guy lighting its face. As it is , the face and front area are shadowed as the light is behind the subject. Still, it is pleasing.
