    Turning back the clock

heh So I started messing around with PS CS3 tonight and decided that I'd use it on my own face and see if I could turn the clock back a little bit since I'm starting to get a few wrinkles here and there.

Now that's a face lift...LOL Patent the process, head to Hollywood, and enjoy your millions Did you end up using the clone tool for that or the healing brush?

lol Thanks! I did use the clone tool pretty much exclusively and the blur tool at the hairline and where I had to get a decent shading for the shadows. The brush tips I used were the breakthrough for me. Using a spatter tip made all the difference in the world and wearing my mouse button out. Think stippling on a digital scale. It was fun though. Took me about 2 hours or so to get it right.

My girlfriend loves the ol' clone tool. "Oh honey, you have a zit. Let me take care of that for you"...LOL

Yeah, I tried the Healing Tool but didn't like how unnatural it looked and it was harder to control the final outcome of the "look" I was going for. With the clone tool I can get a better match for skin texture than I can with the healing tool. It's pretty amazing what you can do with PS.
