    Re: Tunnel of Love

Seems to be a tiny bit of motion or focus blur on the girl. The white in the background has no detail, it'd look a lot better with the detail of the snow still there. The black on her coat seems unnaturally bright, looks like this overall exposure was metered closer to the shade under the bridge than it was to the outside, where the subject is and the background. I think the overall contrast is unpleasantly stark.

*edit - I looked at your exif, f/5 1/60th iso 100 @ 50mm. But, at f/5 that snow under the bridge is pretty focused, was there some heavy use of sharpening in processing on this image? That might be whats making the girl look a bit blurred. I also think the sharpness is excessive in the snow, gives it a gritty sort of rough harsh textured look.

I like the light quality in this, even the overblown bits in the BG are fine visually to me. Though that figure in the bg looks a bit weird. looks almost like a giant screw. The woman upfront is very well lit. nice skin tones also. To me the overall feel to this is as though the two women are walking away from each other. Like having a final argument and forever walking away.

As to what would make this better for me, that would be the woman in the BG looking more realistic than she currently looks.
