    Trying to be a little artsy with my girlfriend.

    Be gentle, my first time posting a pic here. Any and all opinions welcome though.

    The trouble here is focus. The camera is focussed on the blue wall in the background and the woman is unsharp.

    Yeah, my old sony dsc-70 point and click couldn't get me right where I wanted.

    Not a bad moment in time shot. Like Don said, the focus limits the caliber of the photo, but as an artsy shot it seems to work. The freakin prezels (or twisty breads)... argg. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make them go away. next time, slide them out of the frame

    Ok I'm going to deviate a bit here. When you declared up front that this was an attempt at artsy I immediately forgave the main subject being a little less than perfectly in focus to me it added to that arsty feel. The bread sticks didn't bother me either, they added to the ambiance. What I would like to see changed is the guy with the little boy and the sippy cup, they blow the whole mood of the image for me. Over all I think your image is a success with a minor crop or PS edit.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Good eye. I didn't even notice them before and now I can't stop thinking of cropping them out. :mad2:

    I will definitly do that.
