    Try at self portrait and some mods...

    Friday or saturday I was searching for a new pic for my avatar. So I did this pics. Finally, I went with another pic for my avatar, but here's the original photo, and after some Paint Shop Pro layering experiments, I came out with the other photo.

    Here is the original pic (not inspiring and dull, IMHO):


    Here is after adding brilliance, adding the same pic but using it as a multiplier, a tinting and something else I don't remember:


    If I cut and leave only the room, here is the result, which I like:

    I like the original version best. It offers better color distinction of the walls and an enlightening, airy feel about it with the lighting, which is lost in your modified layers version. The crop of the room itself I do not like at all. . .just looks too tightly cropped.I think the original would be even better if your face was in sharper focus, but still it is a good image. Nice room, btw.

    I was going to mention that the shot seems weird because the forground (chair) and background (wall/blinds) are sharp but for some reason your face and body are not. Did you post process everything but yourself?
