Very nice, Emily. Good placement of the subject and I like the repeating pattern of the brick walls fading out the scene. I also like the subject looking into the camera in this shot. well done
I like this too Emily but I would prefer if the musician was not looking towards the camera. Had you your daughters with you when you took this.? The trumpet player doing his business and one of your little ones looking on with childlike intrerest.. Maybe?

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
Hey, Tom...thanks for your view on this. I did have my kiddos with me, but didn't really have the opportunity for that type of shot. I took several of this guy, so I'll look and see if I can find one I like of him not looking at the camera.
Wow, you had your kiddos with you AND you took time to shoot a series with this trumpet player? Now that's dedication! :-)
LOL...yeah, well. My kids are used to me wandering around with the camera attached to my eye...hehe. But, my hubby was with us too, so that made it easier to grab a couple shots!
