From a swimsuit shoot on the beach this morning...

Jet - I did my own swimsuit shoot this morning.. Maybe it was National Bikini Day.

The top image may have a bit too much contrast for a glamour shot (and distracting background), even though it is very sound in concept. But I really like the bottom one. Beautiful shot in many respects, like the pose (different!), warmth on her (reflectors, I assume?) and, umf.. the Model. The only think that bugs me a little is how close her head is to the top of the image. Otherwise, splendid!

I would have liked to see a more dramatic angle on the first one, really like the second one though - heads too close to top though.

Thanks for the input - the background bothers me on the first shot too, that model (Dana) was pretty, but a total flake, very difficult to direct and keep focused on what she was doing. The second model (Jamie) was absolutely fantastic, and I got quite a few shots I was very pleased with of her. The lighting set-ups were pretty straight forward, 1 & 2 head with zoom reflectors, all hard lighting. Will keep the "breathing room" at the top of the shot in mind going forward...
