i took this one tonight. i can see the cross seemingly coming out of his head, but otherwise, i like it. what do you guys think?

If you ever re-shoot it, you might try a bit lower to bring the horizontals of the cross above his head.

Photoshop the cross out, since it is a distraction in its present location and brighten the image to bring out more of the shadow on the right. It certainly has potential but some postprocessing is necessary.
