a tree point of view

I like the image and how the bottom branch mimics the flow of the river/creek. I am undecided as to the branch on the right it’s a little distracting. Over all this is very nice and the use of toning works well.

Any chance of seeing the original colour shot please? I'm not a fan of most shots thet use toning but it would be nice to compare in this case.

Beautiful work on them all. The first is my favorite. I like the contrasting difference between the foreground tree and the ones in the distance. Also the limbs have a tunnel effect too....

To me colour spoils this shot and I had been wondering if you had climbed the tree for this one.

Must get round to scanning some of my film stuff in.

The other shot of the branch hasn't got the punch that this one has for me. It misses the lines and the quality of the composition in the original.

The colour is not at all bad but the tree in the foreground is too much. However in the toned picture I think the foreground tree not so in your face and for that reason alone I would go for the toned version.
