    Tree Frog

Saved the lil' guy from death by lawn mower. Taken a couple years back when I really started getting serious about photography. Hopefully someday my nature photography won't be what I can find in my backyard.

    Re: Tree Frog

Looking at the frogs content face makes me smile knowing the story of his being rescued
I think its a fine pic. Sharpness is there where it should be, love the bg color and texture. I might only suggest burning (darkening) the foremost finger a bit as it is a bit brighter than frog.

I agree with Gary. I would add that what I think works is that the focus is on the right place ...frog's eyes. Also, I would work on vignetting or darkening the edges a little bit ...to bring further focus on the frog. I also like shallow DOF - this is what is need here.

love the sharpness of the frog's face. the thing that bugs me about this are the 4 fingers. my brain needs the missing finger!

Not bad ..! Is this your hand too? Always difficult to shoot and hold something at the same time. I think the DOF could be a little deeper and maybe both his eyes could be clear, but I really like the shot as is also.

Wildlife photography is hard, but it's fun to get out and try. I think you really have to have the right equipment though.

ghaspidy, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I didn't even notice that. Lol Leels, sorry about that man hahah. Yes that is my hand and yes I did crop it down a little...I forget why I think it was just an inch or so but it was of my 5th fingerless hand so I didn't think it contributed to the pic at all. Thanks to everyone for your comments, always appreciated!
