Sorry this is really big, but I was wondering what your opinion was on this. Is it too boring? I thought it was a fun tree, and I thought the sparseness of the area suggested a good kind of old western B&W feel. Not sure if it is enough though. thoughts?

I like the tree, and I like the B&W format. But I really want to see the rest of the area below. I seem to expect an old 1950's scene of Palm Springs here...

GB summed up my feelings on the composition - I would consider adding a sepia tone to give it an aged look and possible add some grain to it as well if old is what your going for.

I also like the tree and the B&W. Yes it is enough but I also really wanna see the area below. I feel the crop is a bit too high.

The B&W format is good, but I would like to see it with colors. And more of area below.

Thanks guys for the comments! I will play around with the colors, I agree a sepia tone would be be interesting to try and would definitely add to the old-western look I was going for. Unfortunately, I didn't take another shot with more area below, but the next time I go back there, I'll definitely give that a try.
