    I was looking thru some old files and found this one. It was taken in the fall of 2005.

    I like the scene John but I feel it is lacking a subject in this one. This would be a beautiful backdrop for something like a graduation photo or even a wedding photo showing the road on which they are about to embark....but as it stands I feel it is missing something.

    That said however it is well composed and broken into proper thirds with good leading lines.

    i think it needs a little more pathway, if you could see it going further, a few more curvs it'd be nice.
    was this shot on an overcast day?

    ZL......yes, it was overcast. Maybe I'll go back in the spring and shoot this from a little further up the trail.
    Jay....what would be a good element to have in a shot like this? A trail direction sign? Perhaps a couple of fallen logs? Good suggestion on the backdrop.
