    Tracks

After a few rainy days I finally hand a chance to go out and shoot with my new toys

    Aperture f/22
    Shutter speed 1/20s
    ISO 125
Using my 18-105mm set at 58mm

    Re: Tracks

Generally I like it but I am thinking maybe if you shot from a lower perspective.......
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Tracks

Agreed, a lower perspective and perhaps from the center of the tracks. although that is kind of overdone

    Re: Tracks

I like the way the tracks lead in to the center, not a fan of the cars or the mid-day light. I like the angle too, don't personally think the lower perspective is needed. Good use of f22, your 1/20 looks pretty sharp - was that tripod or handheld? Also - how far does your 18-105 stop down? 22/32?

    Re: Tracks

    Thanks for the feed back!
I tried the lower angle but I didn't like the way that you lost the tracks. It looked like the tracks ran right into the building.

I wish the cars weren't their either once the trees get leaves I may try it again.
It was about 6 pm when I took the picture and I used a tripod. That lens stops at 32.
Do you think I should play with the colors a bit?

    Re: Tracks

Hector I like it. I'd have taken the same angle so you can follow the lines though I'd have probably been down low to take this one. with my point of reference 1/3 down the track. You used f22, I'd have tried f5 to have the end point blur? Could be nice in B&W. S
