    To Touch The Sky

A memorial to Iven Kincheloe, located near Vandalia, Michigan. Kincheloe was a Michigan native, killed while test flying the Bell X-2 in 1958.

swmdrayfan,,interesting shot....You have place the top of the monument in just the right place...Leaving room at the top gives the plane somewhere to take off into...It is a pity the whites in the plane are burnt out but that is easily fixed...Also some burning in of the sky would give it more impact as the cloud formation is interesting..The title matches the image..

Thank you Jurgen. The plane is made of silver or chrome (at least it looked so from my viewpoint), so the reflected sun did have an effect. Thanks for the suggestion.
