    Touch of Paris

During my trip to Melbourne, I found some time to shoot some street photography, or I tried to at least. This is one of the shots, although it may not be quite enough "street" in it. Either way, I hope you like it.

    Cheers.

I think one step left and using the store fronts more would have helped. Also a human element, A window shopper. The guy on the right is just to close to the edge of the frame.
You also could have moved slightly more right a gotten the barber all the way into the shot. Lots of ideas for this one. Street work is addictive, be careful.....

    Re: Touch of Paris

    Cheers Greg.

I did want more people in the shot, but they were mostly travelling down the RH side of the photo. If I did take some steps to the right, I felt I would loose the impact the store would have on the shot.

You're right about being addictive. I wanted to do a lot more street work than what I actually did, but people in Melbourne were very reluctant to even be in the frame. Perhaps I didn't blend in with my background enough.
