Got out in the woods today and around the lake with my son for a few hours today. This is what we saw.

All shots Nikon D70 and Sigma 50-500mm, some with SB800.

These are some interesting subjects for a walk in the woods. All pleasant to look at however; the splashing water in the first image is bothersome. I like the composition on the second turtle and the lighting of the lizard. In my opinion these two are the best of the series.

That's funny. I like the gator shot because of the water. Here are two more without it.

You are SO good. They are all top notch photos, but I like the second turtle shot the best.

The second turtle is fabulous...I love how he's looking right at ya.
My favorite of your gator shots is the full body shot...although I like the other two, that one is more appealing to me.
And might I add, eek! If I saw an alligator in person like that, the only pix I would get would be from over my shoulder as I was running away...lol.
