    Tires on a Post

I am working on a project, William Eggleston type stuff. I want the whole series to have a vintage film look of urban decay type thing. No heavy cloning make the angle work kind of stuff. All color ect.
I know it's an over done subject but still I love this sort of photography. Your thoughts welcome.

Greg - I looked at your image before I read your comments and thought to myself 'That looks like something William Egglestone would do' - so success!! It really does capture something of his style of recording the apparent minutia of life which most people would ignore. Compositionally it works pretty well too with the two buildings balancing one another, the phone wires leading through the picture, and (especially important to my mind) the trapezoidal bit of pavement in the foreground. Egglestone is not to everyone's taste, but I for one would like to see how your project progresses.

    Cheers

Thanks Mike. I know it won't be to everyone's taste but I truly love the urban grunge, as I call it.
