I think I would have moved to the left until there was a different background, the people seem to distract to much. Maybe just the sleeping man and that stairway.
I think the bg adds to it. To me, this isn't so much about a guy sleeping, but the fact he's doing amidst an active crowd. I would shave the left off a bit...lose the guy that's in mid-stride.
mostly Nikon gear

Armando - It's good, but my attention's torn away and to those other people. I see you tried to blur them but I don't think it was 100% successful, just too much happening down there. Sharp image.

I understand the distraction of the people in the background , and the feel that it has to be isolated.
I took this shot surprised to find him sleeping in a fairly busy area, totally isolating the subject would be just and old guy sleeping in a bench, while now he is placed in the middle of a busy area
I guess the image is not communicating what I saw at the time
I like the idea of the three benches dissapearing in the distance, and three people doing different things in each. I would crop away the left portion just past the leg of the third and smallest leg on the third bench ...the rest, I don't think adds much. BW may look well here also.
I really like this piece! The gentleman is in nice focus and his placement tells a story. It's really cool the way he is sleeping in the middle of a busy area. With him to the right, we can see the people moving in the background, but they are blurred which puts more focus on the man. Lovely piece.
Just my curiosity (because I have a weird love affair with B&W and I'm always curious about that...), I wonder what it would look like in B&W.
EDIT: Nevermind, figured out how to switch to hybrid mode and saw your edit. Sorry.
