    Tidal Basin Sunset #3

I think I finally got the sunset I have been looking for.

I rode my bike down there and this is what I saw.

Love the sky and reflection, great color! Too bad there is no way to seperate the building from the rest of the BG though.

    Awesome shot though!!

I had to come look at it again, Really like it!

WOW! Tremendous. The sweep of the clouds and reflection and their bending around to lead to the memorial is great. The tiniest improvement I'd suggest would be to remove the little dark spot in the sky (and its reflection) on the right side of the frame.
I'm going to enjoy coming back and looking at this some more. Print it large and sell it for a lot.

Image 1 has a very interesting perspective , while the second is a typically beautiful sunset shot .. Love the sky , reflection n color presentation over here ... Really nice ! ;)

I love the second one; the first one doesn't do much for me, but that second one is a wallhanger. My only critique would be the bird on the top left (and it's reflection) are distracting. I originally thought it might have been dust, but it's too small for it to be a sufficient subject. Other than that, well done,

    Man you guys are tough....

...but you have been a really big help. I probably would have been satisfied with my first sunset that I posted a few days ago. But folks here had some pretty good comments that pointed out how there were things lacking. Made me work harder and think more and my photographs are better for it.

BTW this is a stitched together panoramic of yesterdays sunset. As you can see I have a lot to work with here in DC.

I like the bottom shot with it's dazzeling color pallete. It is a fun shot but it could be a little sharper and I wish there was something else in the right side of the photo - a rowboat might have worked. The top shot looks more to be a bicycle advertisement, just too much clutter there. But you got it right the second time.

I think winter colors are better than summer's btw.
