Smile Through a Leica: A pic from: Rockport, MA

I shot this with the finest feeling camera I have ever held (and I've even held Hassy's). The Leica MP. A hefty but unbelievably high quality camera (you have to hold it to believe the myths about it) it yielded this very nice shot of Rockport, MA. It used a Summicron 28mm f/2 aspherical. Since it was film and scanned here is the exif info:
    Exposure: 1/125
    Apperature: f/4
    Lens: Summicron 28mm
    Camera: Leica MP
    Meter: Kenko
    Filter: E46 size warming Polarizer.

Feel free to edit it as you please. If you need I'll post a high res version. I'm wondering if this semi-saturate colour tone is nice for it (I did this in photoshop after scanning it) or if I should go full colour (surprisingly not that stunning) or B&W. Also, should I crop?
    The original is underneath.

Please note that this is not my own camera (although I wish it was!!). So I was still getting used to how pics would turn out. I'll try to get a hold of an M8 to take pictures with and post to get a comparison between old school and new school leica's.

Edit: There are now 4 photos. In order these are:
#1 My original image, no modifications.
#2 My original post with some curves edits and lessened saturation.
#3 An attempt at cooling the image with a semi-saturate result.
#4 A fully saturated cooled down version.

Cooled Semi-Saturate (note, I can get rid of the noise eg; reprocess it better if need be. I'm just looking for if this is a good colour style for this pic. I used a fast way to get to this, I can avoid the cloud noise using slower methods).

--The camera's role is not to interfere with the photographer's work--

--Cibachrome: It's like printing on gold.

--Edit my photos as part of your commentary if you want to.--
