Three more snaps from the cruise

Hi all - three more (and the last!) from my recent trip. The first is from the palace of the Emperor Diocletian which is in Split (Croatia). I was attracted by the way the light fell from an aperture in the domed roof. The second is a rustic stairway in Rovinj (Croatia). The third is another shot from the Greek island of Santorini.

I am thoroughly enjoying these pictures from your cruise! What a beautiful place you've been. The ones of the clusters of Greek (?) houses are my favorites.

It seems you have a very good eye for pattern, for light, and for color. Where I am seeing a little room for improvement is around the edges of your compositions. I know the scenery doesn't always cooperate, but you might want to pay a little attention to the elements that are lying on or close to your borders. An incomplete or "crowded" element there can detract from the photograph as a whole sometimes. But that's just a small nitpick. Overall, very good!
