    Three Bears; One Beer

Working with flash and going for the whimsical.

I'd say you got whimsical. I'd like to see the left lit more evenly. Got some thing to reflect the flash?

The bear on the left is not as transparent as the other two, but, yes, it does need more light. I completely neglected that I could use a reflector, so thank you very much, that will help future shots.

I think it's kind of static. or hmm. don't know how to explain it. very 'setup' looking. The bears are almost an exact distance from each other, the beer is in the middle, just under the middle bear. You see what I mean? For this to work, I think it would've needed a bit of a story line. different kind of composition. Like if two bears were together, an the other bear was lonely on one side with the beer. lol.

    hope that helped

I see what you mean. Maybe this:

But I'm still not happy with the lighting.

Lol. the beauty of cheap film is being able to play with that light until you get something you like. I do like this setup.

Awesome stuff. I'd like to see this with even more lights, or more reflectors as well to throw more specularity in the reflections. The second one is my preferred, the shine on the left hip is very cool. Could be a bit more light on the bottle
