Tom, what a weird looking house, particularly the roof, haven't seen anything like that around these parts. As far as the pic goes, to me it's just a little too tight. With the tree constricting on this side, Hmm, can't think of any advice, sorry, maybe another angle?
Edit: oops i called you Tom. hahah, i was thinking of overbeyond.

Roger .. what a lovely cottage - and it looks very well maintained too. I think you did well with it. You can see from the shadows of the window ledges that there was a bit of contrast in the light, but you have kept it all very balanced. The tree top left doesn't bother me at all - it is prefereble, I think, to just blue in that corner.
Great cottage, and I love the eyebrow windows. It might have been nice to open up the right side just a bit, even if it was only bushes, but aside from that, it looks pretty good to me. You did a really good job on the exposure with this one.
I was worried about the tightness and will be going back to do this cottage justice, May have to merge two photo's to get the angles right. Its on a small lane with not much room.
Liban: That's it your off the Xmas card list:lol: - we have loads of thatched cottages in the UK.

What a great roof!!! The more I look at this one the more I want to see --- I am SO glad you said that you would be going back to take some MORE shots of this place. I am really anxious to see them.
Thank you for sharing a part of your world that I have yet to see here in the colonies---:wink5:
