Texture of the Sound

Took these with the Nikon Coolpix 5600. Tried to emphasize texture with a high contrast monochrome presentation.

Very nice. I can really almost feel the waves as they reach the shoreline in the top one. I like the idea a lot. However, I think the background doesn't support your goal much. I think the shoreline is the key to this idea.

The second photo just seems over edited to me. The top photo is great toward the shoreline, but the bottome photo just seems to lack what the top photo has. Great idea though. I like your editing ideas in other photos too. Keep up the great work!
