    Teton Sunrise

Teton National Park after I found that the road to Mormon row wasn't plowed and I didn't have my snowshoes with me.

    Re: Teton Sunrise

I love the Tetons. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think about going back to the Tetons for shots like this. I'm hoping that in the Fall of 09, I will be able to spend a week exploring the Tetons.

The early morning light on the peaks is great. It really pays to get up early and ready for when the light comes because it doesn't last long.

Is this a stitch, or did you crop it to get the pano? Either way, I like it.

Cropped to pano. I drove out toward Mormon Row(barns)and because of the big snow year they haven't plowed all the way out to the barns. I got back about a mile or so on the road when I ran into a dead end. It was still about a mile to the barns and I didn't have my snowshoes, and I was late getting there. With all of that working against me, I decided to set up right there. Not the best view, or the best composition, but the subject is great.

    Re: Teton Sunrise

That is a great sunrise alright.

My issue with this one is that the image is about 1/2 sky and 1/2 mountains. I think it would work better if it wasn't quite so balanced. Since you cropped to get this panoramic format you should be able to fool around with some other crops to see if an unbalanced image would be stronger.
    No, I DON'T need that.
