This shot is right out of the twenties for me. Think Clara Bow or Mary Pickford (movie stars from that period)
Gotta love that Ilford grain. Love the mood her look is setting.
    Nice shot.

A very interesting picture. The grain is wonderful, and the lighting is superb. The makeup on her left eye is very mysterious, and makes me wonder what it's all about.

LOL! Funny, that was my original plan for this particular series...20's vamp, not that Mary Pickford was Vamp but that whole "feel". Didn't seem to happen, makeup was an experiment at the last minute. Ya gotta be flexible, right?!

Oh yes...grain grain...I love grain. I tend to extend my developing time just to get it. This one actually looks more grainy here than the actual print...things that make you go "hmmm."

    Thanks for commenting!

Thanks for the comment. Makeup was a last minute experiment, we do what we can. (Sometimes what we shouldn't!)

    Thanks for positive feedback,

I beg to disagree. I don't think the makeup detracts from the 20's feel.
The makeup (especially the lips) really looks like makeup from that time period. Your models mouth is, to me, what puts her in that time period. I think you captured it very well.

    Ilford rocks!

Excellent shot. I love the mood. You might do something about the light spots in the BG lower left.

Thanks for the comments. It's hair...I thought about that...I tried like crazy to get the whole shot in where you can actually see more of the hair light effect. I'm on a laptop that doesn't have PS or any image editing software at the moment. I can't really crop properly either. I can on my other computer but my hubbie is still in the process of networking them all so this puter and that puter aren't shaking hands yet. (Down right frustrating, but it won't be long.) Then you guys will be in TROUBLE. If I don't get a job soon you'll be sick to death of me. MUHAHAHAHA!
